Diamante Vision

What is Diamante Cabo San Lucas?

Diamante Cabo San Lucas is a master-planned resort community situated on approximately 1,500 acres of pristine land along 1.5 miles of stunning Pacific coastline, located just six miles from Cabo San Lucas city center. Diamante Cabo San Lucas opened to the public in late 2009 with the premiere of the Dunes Course, a world-class natural links course designed by Davis Love III. The Diamante experience features a clubhouse, a cantina and practice facility featuring a performance center with private hitting bays. Phase One of the real estate offering includes 78 Sunset Hill home sites, 66 residential Golf Villas, 40 Beach Estate oceanfront home sites, a Dunes Residence Club and a Golf Villa Residence Club.

Relaxing at Diamante

What is there to do in Cabo?

Cabo San Lucas is one of the most desired vacation spots in the world. Set on the tip of Baja California, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, Cabo features endless beaches and grand resorts which create a sense of another time and place. Simple pleasures, such as taking in a sunset cruise or strolling the broad promenade of the marina, complement world class golf, offshore fishing excursions, fashionable shopping, and fine dining. Surf, scuba and snorkeling, off-road adventure and more await the bold. Best of all, it’s a destination where a distinctly casual atmosphere defines an unhurried lifestyle.

What amenities does Diamante currently have and what is planned in the future?

Diamante has completed a world-class oceanfront links golf course designed by Davis Love III called the Dunes Course. The course has already received many accolades, including Top New International Golf Course in 2010 and a ranking of #58 in GOLF Magazine’s 2011 Top 100 Courses in the World. Also completed is a clubhouse featuring a cantina with indoor and outdoor dining, golf pro shop, and men’s and ladies locker rooms. Beach activities are also available, including horseback riding, ATV rides and hiking. In early 2011, construction began to complete Phase 1, which includes the Dunes Clubhouse and Residence Club with indoor/outdoor dining; a one-of-a-kind golf performance lab, an oceanfront Beach Club with saltwater lagoon; and a state-of-the-art fitness complex with lap pool. Completion dates are set for Q3 2013.

Future planned amenities include a second golf course called the Oasis Course, which is planned for private membership and will encompass a high-budget, lush landscape that will contrast and complement the Dunes Course and will feature an architecturally noteworthy golf clubhouse. Other future amenities include a tennis complex, equestrian center, hiking and biking trails, luxury spa, state-of-the-art fitness complex, swimming pools and other recreational facilities. In addition, there are plans for The Lagoon Project, which will be a fully functioning resort within the boundaries of the Diamante Community. A third golf course call the Desert Course is also planned adjacent to the Lagoon Project.

Is the Dunes Golf Course private or public?

The Dunes Course is a private facility for the exclusive use of residential owners and members.

What is a “private hitting bay”?

The private hitting bays are unlike anything found in golf, with four large separate stone formations providing an exclusive experience for your foursome. Each hitting bay provides delicious local fare and beverages served by the Slider Bar chef. A personal caddie/service assistant will provide anything needed throughout your round of golf.

How secure is the property?

Diamante has a large and professional security staff. The property is guarded and patrolled 24/7. All of Diamante’s entry points are guard gated and staffed with trained security guards. In addition, Diamante’s security is trained in first-aid and can quickly handle most medical emergencies.

Is it safe to swim or partake of water sports at the site?

Swimming in the Pacific Ocean is prohibited at Diamante, as well as most of Cabo, due to strong riptides conditions. Diamante plans to open a family friendly Beach Club just steps away from the ocean, which will feature a large (one acre) salt water lagoon for swimming.

Getting Around

Where is Cabo San Lucas?

Cabo San Lucas is located at the very southern tip of Baja California Sur and is 1000 miles south of the US-Mexico border. Where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, Cabo San Lucas is a very remote and exotic location which enjoys remarkable accessibility by air and by sea. Major cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Houston are barely two hours flying time away; more distant cities like Seattle, Chicago and Atlanta are only four hours flying time.

Where is Diamante Cabo San Lucas?

Diamante is located approximately 6 miles, and a 10 minute drive from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Diamante represents the next stretch of undeveloped oceanfront property along the Pacific Ocean heading north from “Lands End” toward Todos Santos.

How far is Diamante from the Airport or Downtown?

Diamante is approximately 45 minutes from the San Jose International airport and approximately 10 minutes from Downtown and the Marina. Diamante is serviced by taxi cabs just like any other resort in Cabo. A new highway is proposed that will easily connect San Jose International airport to Cabo San Lucas. The highway will end a few miles north of Diamante’s front entrance. In addition, the local Cabo San Lucas airport is available to private aircraft and is less than 10 minutes from Diamante.

Buying at the Right Time

Why should I buy at Diamante as opposed to other established resorts?

Value & Location. Diamante offers high-end amenities and signature service for excellent value. Diamante is a private resort and the first to open on the Pacific Coast, with several other master planned communities already announced for future development going towards Todos Santos. The prices of land and housing at Diamante are pre-construction prices combined with an adjustment for a slow economy. Prices will not stay this low for long, as new amenities and Golf Villas are completed and recognition for the Dunes Course continues. In 2011, GOLF Magazine has The Dunes Course as the highest rated course in all of Mexico and #58 in the World. We are currently the only private resort with world class golf along with beachfront and ocean view property priced well below market.

Do I have to build on the property or can I purchase the land for investment purposes?

Though we want you to build and become part of the Diamante family, we are allowing certain selected properties to forego the restriction of building on the property. We strongly encourage you to come and experience Diamante first hand. We think you will turn your investment into something long term. If you are purchasing for investment, you could not have picked a better time, as there will be a building requirement for all land sales in the near future. Value will only increase here in Cabo and at Diamante. We stipulate that you not resell for 3 years and we have first right of refusal to buy the land back from you and to resell it for you.

Is there financing available?

If you are interested in financing, you should call the resort and a qualified person will go over the options available to you. Please call 866-901-9058 (Toll Free) for further specific information. There is owner financing available for lot sales, and institutional financing available for villa sales. The process for lot financing can be a matter of days, and can take up to 90 days for Villa financing. It depends on how much you need, want, what product you are selecting and the time frame for purchase.
