Pure Davis
Like his golf game, Davis Love III is a purist when it comes to course design. Which is why, in 2008, we named Love Golf Design as the team to create something special here at Diamante.
As a player, who doesn’t love Davis? He spent more than 450 weeks in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings. He’s won 20 times on the PGA Tour, including one major, the 1997 PGA. He’s also won what many consider the “fifth major”, The Players Championship — twice. And, in January 2011, Davis was named captain of the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
With a philosophy of building courses that respect the land and uphold the traditions of the game, his design career is as impressive as his golf career. Especially when you consider his first course outside the U.S.
