“My brother Mark and I have visited the world’s most highly regarded golf courses. We’re most intrigued by traditional designs. Modern courses should be designed in the traditional manner, with emphasis on strategy and playability, and where creativity is reflected in the subtleties of design detail. Courses like Cypress Point, Augusta National, and Pinehurst #2—they fascinate. Each reflects design principles that have stood the test of time, principles that we try to incorporate into each project, including the Diamante Dunes course.”
