Diamante’s Vision

What is Diamante Cabo San Lucas?

Diamante Cabo San Lucas is a private master-planned resort community situated on approximately 1,500 acres of pristine land along 1.5 miles of stunning Pacific coastline, located just six miles from Cabo San Lucas’ city center. Diamante Cabo San Lucas opened in late 2009 with the premiere of the Dunes Course, a private world-class links-inspired course designed by Davis Love III. Rated 52th in the world on GOLF Magazine’s top 100 list, the Diamante golf experience features gourmet comfort stations and a clubhouse and practice facility complete with performance center and private hitting bays. The upcoming Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal Course at Diamante will provide another exceptional golf experience with the same service and attention to detail as the Dunes Course.

The first phase of the development includes Sunset Hill home sites, residential Golf Villas, Beach Estate oceanfront home sites, a Dunes Residence Club, a Golf Villa Residence Club and the Resort at Diamante. In short, Diamante is an exclusive oasis where stunning scenery and world-class golf meet luxury accommodations and exceptional service.

What amenities does Diamante currently have and what is planned in the future?

Diamante Cabo San Lucas is home to the award-winning Dunes Course (ranked #58 in the world by GOLF Magazine), with another course, El Cardonal, designed by Tiger Woods and his design team (TWD) scheduled to open in 2014. Adding to the Diamante golf experience are gourmet course-side comfort stations, a golf pro shop, a one-of-a-kind golf performance lab and private hitting bays.

The Clubhouse at Diamante is where you’ll find gourmet food and casual fare, a sports bar, pool and Jacuzzi and a 24-hour epicurean deli. Grab a quick bite to go or sip artisanal tequila by the fire on one of our terraces while watching golfers play against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. So much more than just a clubhouse, you could easily spend the day here.

Diamante also features a business center, state-of-the art health and fitness center with lap pool and Jacuzzi, and a private beach. In addition, we offer 24-hour member services that can arrange for any activity under the sun.

Future resort amenities include an additional golf course, oceanfront beach club, tennis courts, world-class spa facilities, children’s activity center and a 10-acre swimmable saltwater lagoon.

Is the Dunes Golf Course private or public?

The Dunes course is a private facility for the exclusive use of residential owners and members. But, for a short time, we are extending a limited number of invitations to play the course.

What is a “private hitting bay”?

The private hitting bays are unlike anything found in golf, with four large separate stone formations providing an exclusive experience for your foursome. Each hitting bay comes with complimentary, cooked-to-order sliders and beverages served by the Slider Bar chef. A personal caddie/service assistant will provide anything you desire throughout your round of golf.

How secure is the property?

Nestled in one of the safest locations in North America and surrounded by security, Diamante is a true getaway from the worries of the world. A former special agent, our director of security has outfitted Diamante with the most knowledgeable and competent guards for round-the-clock support and peace of mind. Like all of the services at Diamante, our safety staff goes the extra mile so that — once you’re here — all you’ll have to worry about is remembering to put on your sunscreen.

Is it safe to swim or partake of water sports at the property?

Diamante will soon open a family-friendly 10-acre saltwater lagoon, which will allow for swimming and non-motorized water sports. Swimming in the Pacific Ocean is prohibited throughout most of Cabo, due to strong riptide conditions.

Getting Around

Where is Cabo San Lucas?

Cabo San Lucas is located at the tip of Baja California Sur, approximately 1,000 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border. Major cities, such as Los Angeles, Dallas, Phoenix and Houston, are all within two and a half hours’ flying time; other cities — like Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta and New York — offer short flights, as well.

Where is Diamante Cabo San Lucas?

Diamante is located about six miles (less than 15 minutes by car) from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Diamante represents the next stretch of oceanfront property along the Pacific Ocean heading north from “Lands End” toward Todos Santos.

How far is Diamante from the airport or downtown?

Diamante is approximately 45 minutes from the San Jose International airport and less than 15 minutes from downtown and the Marina. Diamante is serviced by taxicabs, as well as our exclusive shuttle service.

A new highway is currently under construction that will connect San Jose International airport to Cabo San Lucas. Scheduled for completion in March 2014, the highway will end a few miles north of Diamante’s front entrance. In addition, the local Cabo San Lucas airport is available to private aircraft and is less than 10 minutes from Diamante.

Buying at the Right Time

Why should I buy at Diamante as opposed to other established resorts?

Value and location — Diamante offers high-end amenities and signature service in one of North America’s premier resort destinations. Currently, there is still pre-construction pricing available and property values will increase incrementally over time, resulting in increased value for each owner. Prices will not stay this low for long, as new amenities are added, property values increase and recognition for Diamante continues. GOLF Magazine has named the Dunes Course at Diamante #1 in all of Mexico and in the Top 100 Courses in the World.
